Dear Campus Community,

I am writing to share organizational changes being made within the Office
of the President. These come as we move toward more normal operations in
the fall, an adjustment I know we are all looking forward to.

   - Ken Knelly has been named chief of staff. After joining the college in
2014 to lead marketing and communications, Ken moved to the Office of the
President in 2017. He has continued to anchor college communications while
taking on additional duties following the retirement of former chief of
staff Keith Tyo in 2018. The position has been vacant since. Ken's
strong organizational and analytical skills have helped me since my arrival
and will continue to as we broaden campus and community relationships
   entering the next academic year.

   - The Office of Marketing, now under Institutional Advancement, will
combine with campus communications and move in June to the Office of the
President. The unit will continue to provide campus leadership in areas of
market research, website, digital advertising and design, and student
recruitment. We will also connect this work more tightly with
communications and better advance the profile and brand of the college. With
the move, we are eliminating a vacant staff assistant position that had
existed in the Office of the President.

   - We will initiate a search for an executive director of strategic
communications and marketing to lead this centralized team. This position
will head efforts to tell our stories, reach across divisions, develop
innovative digital marketing strategies, use a wide range of platforms
including video, and assist in areas of media, campus and community
   relations.

Among my most critical tasks is to be clear, consistent and far-reaching in
communicating with you and those outside our campus community. It is
possibly the essential act of being a college president.

Sincerely,

Alexander Enyedi
President
