[Important Information for Employees] The Death of Forrest Studebaker

Dear Members of Our Campus Community,

We were saddened to have learned of the death of adjunct lecturer, Dr.
Forrest Studebaker, who died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021, at home on Cumberland
Head. At 80 years old, Dr. Studebaker was set to teach this semester in
political science.

Dr. Studebaker joined the faculty of political science as an adjunct
lecturer in August 1999. Over the years, he also taught classes in the
Honors Program as well as in geography. He retired in 2018 but returned to
teach during the 2020 and 2021 academic years. He also taught history and
political science at Clinton Community College.

Arrangements are incomplete and in the care of Hamilton Funeral Home, 294

We will share details when they are known.
