[Important Information for Employees] Testing Moodle tonight - 8-10 pm

Dear Campus Community,



Please assist us in testing our Moodle system as we work tonight to restore
your access as soon as possible.



>From 8-10 pm tonight we will enable Moodle access, and we are asking for
your assistance in testing the system with the thousands of users it
normally supports.

If you can, please log into your Moodle courses, and do a few tasks
(anything to be submitted should first be saved in a Word processor or text
editor before it is copy/pasted/submitted via Moodle) just to be safe.

We do not recommend you start any quiz or exam, as we cannot guarantee the
system will remain active.


This will allow us to watch the system perform "under load" so that we can
determine if the changes we have made are working properly.



If the system performs well, we will continue to run Moodle in full
operational mode.

If it does not run well, we will immediately move into the next phase of
troubleshooting, so that we can restore full access as quickly as possible.



We know that the disruption in classes on Moodle is affecting you and
your learning/teaching schedules. We are doing everything we can to restore
service.
