[Important Information for Employees] COVID-19 Case Update | Departure Testing Concludes Friday

Dear Campus Community,

The college recorded four new COVID-19 cases on Thursday. Over the past 14
days, 39 total cases have been recorded.

Today we completed the second day of mandatory COVID-19 testing for
departing students with an additional 379 samples taken. Departure pooled
surveillance testing concludes tomorrow. We will share results when
available. Further details on testing and exiting campus are online at

By direction of the county health department, 114 students (41 on-campus
and 73 off-campus) and no employees are in mandatory or precautionary
quarantine. Additionally, three students are in precautionary isolation
having tested negative with rapid tests but awaiting back-up PCR test
results.

Decisions by the health department for quarantine are based on an
assessment of potential exposure to help prevent possible viral
spread. Those in isolation and quarantine are being released as they
recover and risk times expire. We respect the privacy of those in isolation
and quarantine and will support them. If you are aware, please also respect
their privacy.

We conclude the on-campus portion of the fall semester in one week. Please,
as we see high numbers of new cases here and worldwide, continue your
prevention, health and safety, You can and are making a difference. Key

   avoiding large social gatherings.
