[Important Information for Employees] COVID-19 Cases | Update and End of Semester

Dear Campus Community,

The college recorded one new COVID-19 case today, an off-campus student.
Over the past 14 days, three total cases have been recorded.

By direction of the county health department, one student and no employees
are in mandatory or precautionary quarantine. We respect the privacy of
those in isolation and quarantine and will support them. If you are aware,
please also respect their privacy.

As we conclude fall classes for students, and most employees shift to
remote off-campus work, campus COVID-19 update messages will reduce in
frequency.

Results of pooled surveillance testing -- from Tuesday, Dec. 15; Tuesday,
Jan. 5; and Tuesday, Jan. 19 -- will be shared as they are reported back to
campus from Upstate Medical. In addition, any positive cases among the
small number of remaining on-campus students will be shared with you.

We will resume regular reporting and COVID-19 updates when the build-up to
the spring 2021 semester begins in mid-January.

We encourage you to take steps daily to ensure the safety for you and all
around you. Wear a mask, practice social distancing, wash your hands, avoid
large social gatherings, and stay home when sick.

Dr. Alexander Enyedi
President
