SA approves new senator, new adviser

The Student Association approved SUNY Plattsburgh senior Shawna Wright as a
Senator, and unanimously approved Lydia Austin as the new adviser of the
Student Association Sept. 2. The executive board began the planning of a
pep rally on campus Aug. 31.

Bagpipes rang in the start of SUNY Plattsburgh’s ceremony at Hawkins Hall
Pond Thursday, where more than 125 people gathered to honor those who
perished as a result of the terrorist attacks 25 years ago in New York
City, Arlington, Va., and Shanksville, Pa.

Volleyball walks away with a 2-1 win at the Cardinal Classic

                   Plattsburgh State Women's Volleyball faced off against
teams from around the North Country in the Cardinal Classic Sept. 5. The
tournament included Russell Sage College, Hartwick College and SUNY Potsdam.
