[Academic-Affairs] Reminder: Nominations for 2025-2028 Faculty Athletics Representative

On behalf of Cardinal Athletics, the President’s office, the faculty, and
Burghy, Academic Affairs would like to acknowledge with gratitude Associate
Librarian Mila Su’s exemplary years of service as our Faculty Athletics
Representative! First appointed by President John Ettling in 2009, Mila has
served with distinction and dedication in this role continuously since
then. She made the decision to step down at the end of this academic year,
and has assisted as we finalized the formal document of responsibilities
for our next FAR. THANK YOU!

Open call for nominations and self-nominations for the Faculty Athletics
Representative (FAR), to serve for a 3-year term starting Sept 1, 2025 -
August 31, 2028. Please self-nominate or nominate someone else at this link

May 19, 2025 EOD with a 200 word statement of your interest in the role and
your CV. A nominations committee consisting of the current FAR, a faculty
person appointed by the Faculty Senate Executive, the Director of Athletics
and VP of ESS will review nominations, may request additional information,
and will then make recommendations to the President, who will make the
