[Academic-Affairs] Last day of classes!

Colleagues,

While it has been many years now since I was full-time teaching faculty, I
still have the same sense of a sigh of relief and a lessening of stress
with the arrival of the last day of classes.  Congratulations to all of our
classroom faculty for reaching this point of "almost finished" in another
academic year, and also to our direct support professionals.

that our Telecounseling program continues to be available to our students
all summer long, wherever  they may be, 24/7.  I have been told by Christy
Mink that our faculty referral efforts, in particular, have been very
strong--and more successful than other peer institutions.  I have requested
an update on usage data and will share this out when I receive it.

I know this is a time of year when student stress increases, so perhaps you
will have the opportunity to share with your students these continuing
mental health resources.
