[Academic-Affairs] Oswego and positive recruitment results

Colleagues,

First of all, just a sincere congratulations to each of you for making it
through another difficult pandemic influenced academic year.  I'm aware
that grades are due tomorrow, and I am sure that many of you are breathing
a sigh of relief.  If I am not going to be seeing you for one reason or
another in the coming weeks, I wish you a summer of rest and rejuvenation.
I am aware that you are likely still wrapping up final reports and that
chairs are working on assessment and departmental annual reports.  I am
hoping that the end of classes does bring a time of stress relief and more
quiet to focus on unfinished work.

Some of you may have seen an Inside Higher Ed article featuring SUNY Oswego
published yesterday.  Interesting and creative ideas that are resulting in
some strong  enrollments for Oswego for the fall.  We are already trying
some of these ideas, but there are others that I hope we can pursue.
