Colleagues,
I wanted you to be aware of the information below re: student
mandatory testing coming up next week. It would be helpful, when you are
meeting in person with students to take the opportunity to quickly remind
them of this requirement. We are working hard as a campus to support and
maintain the safest campus environment possible. With students, in
particular, we are told that they don't always regularly check their
college email accounts.

Urgent DATE CHANGE FOR ALL STUDENT PARTICIPATION IN COVID TESTING IS
OCTOBER !*_@)
Dear Students,
Update Your Calendar - The dates that all ALL STUDENTS REGARDLESS OF
VACCINATION STATUS must participate in COVID-19 testing has changed to Monday,
October 18 through Wednesday, October 20. We will continue the use of home
test kits for students. Students may drop off the completed test kit at
Algonquin Hall from 9 a.m. – noon; 1 – 4 p.m.
*IF YOU HAVE ALREADY COME TO TESTING THIS WEEK AND ARE VACCINATED, YOU DO
NOT NEED TO TEST NEXT WEEK.*
Only unvaccinated and partially vaccinated students must test Wednesday
October 13 and Thursday October 14.
Help keep lines short by dropping off your completed test kit during the
following blocks of time below, according to your last name:

Last name begins with A - C scheduled for 9:00 – 10:00am

Last name begins with D - F scheduled for 10:00 – 11:00am
-
Last name begins with G – K scheduled for 11:00 – noon
-
Last name begins with L – M scheduled for 1:00 – 2:00pm
-
Last name begins with N – R scheduled for 2:00 – 3:00pm

Last name begins with S – Z scheduled for 3:00 – 3:30pm
COME PREPARED

Before Taking Your Test.

Do not:
-
Eat or drink 30 minutes prior to the test. This includes chewing
gum, mints or lozenges.

Smoke, vape, or use smokeless tobacco products 30 minutes prior to
the test.

Brush your teeth or use mouthwash 3 hours prior to the test.

Register Your Test Kit. On the same day you are dropping it off, log in
to your SUNY COVID-19 Testing Account <https://www.suny-covid-test.com/>
and complete a series of screening questions.

Bring your ID and completed test kit to Algonquin Hall.

All students must participate through October 18-20, regardless of
vaccination status.
