Wilson Scholarship was created to honor James Augustus Wilson, class of 1902.
Mr. Wilson was the first African American student to enroll and graduate from Plattsburgh
Normal School, the first incarnation of what we now know as SUNY Plattsburgh.</span></div>

underrepresented students for their academic achievement and leadership,
