 are now being accepted for the NY State <span class="gmail-il">Assembly</span> Session Internship 

program. These internships place up to 150 undergraduate students in an 

<span class="gmail-il">assembly</span> members' office for the Spring 2027 session (Jan. 11 to May 5) 

and also include an academic course taught by a Professor-in-Residence, 

discussion groups, and completion of a research paper. Interns will be 

paid an $8800 stipend and can earn a full semester of academic credit 

(15 credits). Applicants can be in any major, but must be a junior or 

senior to apply for this internship program. Applicants should possess 

emotional maturity, professional awareness, and be highly motivated to 

succeed as well as demonstrate academic ability and intellectual

Approximately 30 undergraduate students will be placed in a state 

senator's office for the Spring 2027 session (mid-January to late-April)

 and will attend a weekly seminar series.

Interns will be paid an $8800 stipend and can earn a full semester of 

academic credit (15 credits). 

Applicants can be in any major, but must normally be a junior or senior 

to apply for this internship program (exceptional sophomores are 

occasionally selected).
