state employees and Research Foundation colleagues are eligible for waivers of
tuition at State operated campuses (excluding Community Colleges). The SUNY
tuition waiver policy allows for a maximum of <b>one</b> course per year. The
awarding of waivers is determined by the relationship of the courses taken to
current position responsibilities and previous waivers granted, as well as by
the number of requests received and the funds available. Some semesters there
are only enough funds remaining to cover a portion of the tuition requested.
Waivers for part-time employees are prorated based on their appointment
percentage.<br>
