<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:garamond,"times new roman",serif;font-size:large;color:rgb(0,0,0)">The <a href="https://library.plattsburgh.edu/research-and-write/feinberg-library-research-prize">Feinberg Library Undergraduate Research Prize</a> will be awarded this year to <b>Mikayla Ormsby</b> for their paper, <b>"History Hates Lovers: The Modern Perception of Queer Relationships and Women in 9th Century America,"</b> written as a course assignment for <b>Dr. Vincent Carey's (History)</b> History 385 Advanced Historical Practices course in Spring 2025.<br>Funding for this $500 prize is provided through the charitable support of the Plattsburgh College Foundation. <br><b>The campus community is invited to a brief award ceremony in Feinberg Library on Monday, May 4, at 4:00 pm.</b><br><br><br>The <a href="https://library.plattsburgh.edu/research-and-write/feinberg-library-research-prize">Feinberg Library Graduate Research Prize</a> will be awarded this year to <b>Olivia DeVito</b> for their paper, <b>“Temperature gradient impact on the relative abundance, diversity, and density of trees at Whiteface Mountain,”</b> written as a course assignment for <b>Dr. Mark Lesser's (CEES</b>) Forest Ecology and Management course in Fall 2025.<br>Funding for this $500 prize is provided through the charitable support of the Plattsburgh College Foundation.<br><b>The campus community is invited to a brief award ceremony in Feinberg Library on Wednesday, May 6, at 2:00 pm. </b></div></div>
