late Dr. Douglas Richard Skopp. Dr. Douglas Skopp joined the History Department
here at SUNY Plattsburgh in the fall of 1972.</span></div>

     social justice</span></li>
 <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span lang="EN" style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">A deep passion for social justice and dismantling
     harmful narratives</span></li>
 <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span lang="EN" style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Provide leadership within the campus
     community, particularly through increasing awareness of bias, eradicating
     hate speech, and promoting civility, respect, justice, and equality for

challenges during the pursuit of their college degree. Examples include but are

that the names of winners may be advertised as recipients of the scholarship
and may be asked to write a thank you letter to the Plattsburgh College
