<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 10pt;line-height:125%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Drop-in to The Fishbowl (Myers Building
232, Second Floor) <b><u>TODAY, Thursday, between 11:30–1:30 </u></b>to take
part in a shared curatorial project with the Plattsburgh State Art Museum. This
participatory event is open to all students, staff, faculty, and administrators
too! It is designed to create more opportunities for our campus community to
learn about, and contribute to, the public presentation of the museum’s
collection. No prior experience necessary, just bring your curiosity!</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 10pt;line-height:125%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><b><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">About The Fishbowl:</span></b><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"><br>
This publicly accessible display in the Myers Building also serves as a
teaching classroom for the museum and can be reserved for meetings and events.
During the fall semester, the museum brought more than 150 artworks out of
storage for classes, engaging approximately 550 student visits across 30 class
sessions over the semester.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 10pt;line-height:125%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><b><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">What to Expect:</span></b><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"><br>
This is one of four opportunities. Each session will focus on one display case,
ultimately resulting in four collaboratively curated installations. A selection
of artworks arranged by theme will be brought out of storage for participants
to explore, select from, and install for a one-year long exhibition.</span></p>

Consider highlighting an artwork from The Fishbowl in <i>Cardinal Points</i>,
as students and faculty have published in past issues. This opportunity invites
the community to engage with object records and institutional history, often
uncovering surprising and delightful stories.</span></p>
