<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default"><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%"><b>Advising info for the Information Literacy Exam</b><font face="arial, sans-serif"></font></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%"><font face="arial, sans-serif">With the exam offered over the summer and those currently
enrolled in the LIB190 course there are very few students left (less than 250)
that are eligible to take the exam. <br><br>
Students who are eligible will receive an email letting them know the exam is
an option for them and the link to register for the exam. The exam will be open between Mon.
Oct. 27 through Fri. Nov. 14, 2025. </font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%"><b><font face="arial, sans-serif">Eligibility to Take the Exam</font></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%"></p><ul><li><font face="arial, sans-serif">Students can only take the exam once.<br><br></font></li><li><font face="arial, sans-serif">Students enrolled in a section of the LIB190 course are not
eligible to take the exam after the semester’s add/drop period.<br><br></font></li><li><font face="arial, sans-serif">By passing the exam, students meet the requirement, but do
not receive the credit hour.<br><br></font></li><li><font face="arial, sans-serif">Students who have a grade of E or W for the LIB course can
meet the requirement by passing the exam, but the exam does not remove or
replace the letter grade.</font></li></ul><p></p>
