chair and pianist, as she dazzles the stage of Krinovitz Recital Hall with “A
Fool for Love: An Evening of Musical Love Letters.” Joining her are special
guests, Dr. Sylvia Stoner, soprano, and alumnus Mason Barber. This concert will
feature the works of Schumann, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and many others. “I am
so excited to be back playing live music again,” said Becker, “Sylvia has
brought some great ideas to the table, and we have been having a lot of fun
with the concept of love letters through the ages! I think the variety of music
will have something for everyone!”</span><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"></span></p>

series performed and organized by Dr. Karen Becker with a variety of guests
through its life at SUNY Plattsburgh. Dr. Sylvia Stoner is a voice artist in
residence at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, where she teaches and
performs. This is part of a two-day residency for Dr. Stoner, as she is also
conducting a Voice Masterclass on Friday, March 31. Additionally, the
concert will feature a special performance by recent graduate, Mason
