in the run-up to Kristallnacht (The Night of Crystal/Broken Glass), the
Nazi pogram against the Jews that took place on Nov. 9-10, 1938. He will explore this process using the perspective of noted Holocaust historian Timothy Snyder, who argued that antisemitism acted as a 'political resource for the Nazis,' and will ask what this might tell us about the rise of antisemitism in the United
States in recent years. <br></div>
