in Public Life is pleased to welcome Dr. Donald Abelson to the Institute
on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at noon, to give a presentation titled<span> "The Business of Ideas: Think Tanks and Public Policy." This will take place in the Thomas Moran Seminar Room (Hawkins 233).<br></span><span>---<p><span><span><a><span>Dr. Donald Abelson</span></a></span></span><span><span><span> is the </span></span></span><span><span><span><span>Director
of the Brian Mulroney Institute of Government, Steven K. Hudson Chair
in Canada-US Relations, and is Professor of Political Science, St.
Francis Xavier University. Dr. Abelson is the author of several books
and is currently writing a textbook with Stephen Brooks and Melissa
Hausmann. In addition to his teaching and research interests, Dr.
Abelson appears regularly on various media networks in Canada, the
United States, Europe and in the Middle East to discuss Canada-US
